Moharimet Elementary School Playground, Madbury, NH
Moharimet Elementary School Playground is not near the ocean at all, but tops the list as one of our favorite playgrounds! This playground is obviously free to enjoy and it is mostly shaded with a lot of trees around, so it makes for a perfect summer outing!
When to enjoy the playground
We went to Moharimet on a Saturday afternoon in mid- July and even though it was 80 degrees, we weren’t that hot! So much of the playground was in the shade, except for a couple slides and those were pretty hot. But the kids enjoyed the other slides and it was perfect!
Since Moharimet is an elementary school, you won’t be able to visit here during school hours. You can visit on the weekends when school is in session, but not during the week.
Fun for all ages
My kids right now are 6, 4 and 2 and they all had a blast! I could just sit back while they played. Playgrounds like this are the BEST.
There are plenty of swings, 5 slides, old tires scattered throughout for climbing and balance, monkey bars, a climbing wall and a large playground structure for playing!
Just a note: if your kids are playing on the biggest slide at the playground, expect them to go very fast down it. It surprised my kids at first, but there is a soft landing at the bottom and they LOVED it.
Getting there, parking and bathrooms
Moharimet is located at 11 Lee Road, Madbury, NH.
There is a huge parking lot in front of the school. Park there and walk to the right side of the school and go behind it for the playground.
There are no bathrooms here. I read there are sometimes porta-potties available on the baseball fields during the spring, but that is a far walk from the playground. Just pack the kid potty in the car and you’ll be all set!
