Perkins Cove

Perkins cove with kids

Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, Maine

I can’t possibly talk about all there is to do in Perkins Cove but it was such a fun morning trip that I made with the kids last summer so I have to mention it! It is so easy and I think you should check it out too! Here are a few tips!

Get there early

The kids are always up early, so pack up and head out early! You really don’t have to pack too much because it’s not a beach day. It’s just a fun little spot to check out with picnic tables, a candy store, a small toy store and my friends clothing shop! We got there at 10 and the parking lot that is pay by the hour was very full. There is another parking lot that you will see first that is $20 to park. Make sure you park in the parking lot closest to Perkins Cove itself as that is $5 an hour! Download the Passport Parking app too ahead of time to make it even easier.

there’s a couple things to do

1- Go to the candy store! They have lobster shaped lollipops that the kids loved!

2- Go to the small toy store (if you’re in a good mood and the kids are being good of course)

3- Check out my friends clothing store! The name of it is Beach Bum Threads and I love their clothes! They have some really cute kid stuff too and also some cute Maine related items as well! Use my code, mymainebees, online for 15% off!

4- Have a picnic on a picnic table near the water so the kids can enjoy their candy!
